Boat Wind Generator
What type of boat, the lowest maintenance?
I would like to own a boat, but the more I talk to people who do, the more I get the impression that the a terribly expensive hobby to have. There have boats, which have very little maintenance. What are they? Am I right in thinking that, in theory, start with an aluminum engine and Electric Wind Generators would be the least expensive form of the boat to be his own?
Boats are expensive to maintain in a good / safe condition. The smaller the boat, the lower the maintenance. The bigger the boat the greater the cost. Also, do not forget about the "Property Tax" that is paid annually on the boat. On my 26 'Express Cruiser Annual maintenance is $ 600 and tax is $ 550 per year. The least expensive to own an inflatable boat from Walmart with belts. See below. I also own a 60 'motor Yacht. It's a great live-aboard and I am self-sufficient in the event of an earthquake here in CA. You do not know my charges on that hunt! Plus I can travel to many places. BTW, boating is a hobby. It's a lifestyle!
